UMBA Italian Night Fundraiser for the UMFC

The funds raised from the UMBA Italian Night go to the Upper Makefield Fire Company.

The Upper Makefield Fire Company is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania non-profit corporation. We’re an all-volunteer, unpaid group of men and women committed to making a difference in our community and helping neighbors in their time of need. Our membership includes working parents, small business owners, tradesmen, professionals and retirees who range in age from teens to energetic seniors.

The Upper Makefield Fire Company can’t do what they do without the financial generosity of our residents.

Resident donations enable them to do their jobs well and keep you, your families and property safe.

  • Upper Makefield Township resident donations fund the a significant portion of UMFC's operating budget—to pay for fuel, utilities, equipment maintenance, insurance, and incidental expenses

  • Your donations do NOT go toward salary and benefits—all our members are unpaid volunteers, who dedicate their time and energy to protect the community

  • UMFC regularly face unfunded regulatory mandates (e.g., for new radios, hoses, other gear)

  • UMFC also has to pay for new technologies, apparatus and associated training to maintain high standards

  • Other funding sources maybe limited and can have restricted uses.

To find out more and how to donate us or join us on Saturday October 7 between 5-9pm, please go to www.uppermakefieldba.org/italian-night
